Method how the work is carried on

Ingredients are semolina, rice, colours, plates and picture frames.

These  ingredients combined, produce such an artistic display that the public   and   even  tourists  who  visit  the  exhibition  are  very  much impressed especially when the method of  how  the  work  is  done  is explained to them.

Great patience is required when working with semolina.   First there is the  choosing  of  the  colours.   The  next  step  is  the  mixing  of  the colours.   Special  attention  is  given  to  the  matching  since  several shades are needed.   When the process of mixing is finished, outlines of the pictures are printed on the plates.   Then, very  slowly  and very carefully,  semolina  is  poured  on  the  picture  with  the  means  of a teaspoon.

The plates containing rice are worked out in a slightly different way.

The  rice  is  coloured  the  same  way  as the semolina but instead of using a teaspoon, a pincer is used.  To have a good result, care must be taken to place the grains of rice touching without leaving any gaps.

After  the  exhibition,  all  the work on display is thrown away because semolina and rice cannot be preserved for long.
However,  even  knowing  that  nearly a year’s labour is thrown away after the exhibition  doesn’t  keep  us  from  preparing for the next one with more different items of interest to the public.
